Road closed after pedestrian knocked down near train station

A road in East Dunbartonshire has been closed after a pedestrian was knocked down near a train station.

Emergency services were called to Station Road at the junction with Drymen Road in Bearsden after reports of a crash at around 8.10am on Wednesday.

The seriousness of the pedestrian’s injuries is not known

The road remains closed following the incident, and drivers have been urged to avoid the area.
