Ciaron DochertyBatman has been filmed up close as new stunt scenes were shot under a bridge in Glasgow.
The city has once again been transformed into the fictional Gotham City for The Batman: Part II, owing to its historic architecture and local filming incentives.
Last month, production crews dressed up Bothwell Street, Wellington Street and St Vincent Street with fake snow, hot dog stands and fictional storefronts such as Lacy’s and The Gotham Fork.
More than a dozen Gotham police cars, motorcycles and emergency unit vehicles lined the street, alongside the Batmobile, which took centre stage during filming for a dramatic police chase scene.
Excited fans have captured scenes such as shots being fired at the Batmobile, with production moving under the Kingston Bridge this week.
Filming in the busy area of the city took place on Friday evening, with roads closed.
In footage shared with STV News, a stuntman playing the vigilante has been spotted up close on a motorcycle flying over police cars.
There has been no sign of any major actors so far, including Batman himself, Robert Pattinson.
Jeffrey Wright, who plays Commissioner James Gordon, teased that he might be in Glasgow on social media.
The film also stars Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan and Andy Serkis and is due for release in February 2028.
