A man has been arrested after police were called to a Glasgow street over reports of a man allegedly carrying a firearm.
The 28-year-old was arrested on Alexandra Parade in the Dennistoun area of the city on Saturday after police were called at about 8.35pm.
No-one was injured as a result of the incident.
The man has been charged and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police have arrested a 28-year-old man after officers were called to the Alexandra Parade area at about 8.35pm last night following a report of a man with a firearm.
“No-one was injured as a result of the incident.
“He is due before Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow.”
