An arrest has been made following reports a man was seen with weapons at an Asda supermarket in Glasgow.
A 33-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident in the Prospecthill Circus area in Toryglen.
Armed police swept the scene after the alarm was raised on Wednesday morning.
Officers have now confirmed an arrest has been made and thanked the public for their help.
Inspector Crawford Inglis, from Cathcart Police Station, said: “I’d like to thank the community for their assistance with our investigation, following what was clearly a distressing situation.”
The suspect is due to appear at court on Friday.
