An arrest has been made after a man was discovered injured on a street in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Cornalee Gardens in the Pollok area of the city at around 3.45pm on Wednesday.

A 38-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University hospital for treatment.

Forensic officers searched Aviemore Road in Mosspark, some three miles away, in connection with the incident.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested, and an investigation is ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.45pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, police received a report a man had been injured on Cornalee Gardens, Pollok, Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and the 38-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

“A 43-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
