A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man found seriously injured in a burning house.
John Dalziel was discovered badly hurt in a property on Whites Bridge Avenue in the town shortly after 10.05pm on Thursday, May 6.
Emergency services were called to the house after a report of a fire. The 47-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he later died.
A 38-year-old man will appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday in relation with Mr Dalziel’s death.
Police Scotland said a full report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
