Police have locked down a road after the roof of an Arnold Clark blew off in Greenock after high winds battered the country throughout the night.
Officers were called to East Hamilton Road at around 6.10am on Wednesday morning after the roof was spotted hanging off the derelict garage.
The road was closed in both directions as police conducted a clean-up operation but has since reopened.
There have been no injuries reported.
A police spokesperson said: “East Hamilton Road in Greenock is closed after a roof was blown off a derelict building.
“Officers are currently in attendance and the public is being asked to avoid the area.
“No one has been injured.”
