Armed police have descended on a street in Glasgow after reports of a “gun being fired”.

Officers are in attendance at the Drumoyne Road area of the city following a report of a firearm being discharged within a premises.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 4pm on Friday, October 25.

There is not believed to be any wider risk to the public however officers are advising people to avoid the area.
