Armed police were called after reports of a gun inside a house.
The officers were called to Cathay Street in Glasgow on Monday morning.
Police Scotland said enquiries into the incident were ongoing.
A spokeswoman said: “At around 11.25am on Monday, police responded to reports of a firearm within a property in Cathay Street, Glasgow.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
