Armed officers were called to a Glasgow street on Thursday after reports of men with weapons.
Emergency services, including firearms specialists, were alerted to the incident on Ruchazie Road at around 4.20pm.
Officers charged a 46-year-old man in connection with having an offensive weapon. He is due to appear in court at a later date.
Two other men, aged 27 and 28, were arrested in connection with having offensive weapons. The pair were released without charge.
Police also arrested a 47-year-old male in connection with an outstanding warrant.
An investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.20pm on Thursday, June 4, 2026, we received a report of men with weapons on Ruchazie Road in Glasgow.
“Police, including armed officers, attended and a 46-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with having an offensive weapon and vandalism.
“He is due to appear at court at a later date, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
“Two men, aged 27 and 28, were arrested in connection with having offensive weapons and released without charge.
“Enquiries are ongoing.
“A 47-year-old man was arrested in connection with an outstanding warrant.
“There are no reported injuries.”
