A schoolgirl who had been missing for four days has been found safe following a public appeal.
The 15-year-old, from Cumbernauld, had not been seen since Thursday, December 2.
Police issued an appeal on Monday as they urged the public to help with the search for the teenager.
The force confirmed on Tuesday that she had been traced “safe and well”.
The public was also thanked for their help.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We can confirm that a 15-year-old who had been reported missing from Cumbernauld has been traced safe and well.
“Thanks to everyone who helped with our previous appeal.”
