An appeal has been launched after a car was set fire to in a what police believe was a “wilful” attack.
Police are asking anyone with information on the incident that happened around 9.40pm on Monday, December 4, to come forward.
The grey Skoda Superb was set a blaze while parked in the Crosshill Road area of Lenzie near the junction Boghead.
Detective constable Mark Soutter, from Kirkintilloch CID, said: “Enquiries into this fire remain ongoing, but it is believed to have been wilful.
“We’re asking anyone with information to come forward, including if you live or were traveling in the area and may have seen any suspicious activity overnight.
“If you believe you can assist our enquiries, please call police on 101, quoting incident 3629 of December 4, 2023. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
