Appeal after steamroller stolen from Castle Kennedy, Stranraer, over weekend Police Scotland

A steamroller has been stolen from outside a village in Dumfries and Galloway.

Between 5pm on Friday and 9am on Monday, a Bomag road roller was taken from near Castle Kennedy, Stranraer.

Police Scotland has appealed to the public for any information that can help in their investigation of the theft.

Officers released an image of the roller which is yellow and black and is used to compress asphalt on roads and paths.

A spokesperson said: “Between 5pm on Friday, May 20, and 9am on Monday, May 23, 2022, a Bomag road roller was stolen just outside Castle Kennedy, Stranraer.

“If you have any information please phone 101 quoting PDG0107990522.”
