Andy Murray announces 'first-ever' theatre tour

Andy Murray has announced that he will embark on his first-ever theatre tour a year after his retirement from professional tennis.

The three-time grand slam champion confirmed the tour, named Centre Stage, will take place over four nights in June next year.

The tour will kick off at Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo on June 18 before heading to Edinburgh and London.

Murray announced his retirement from the sport after the Paris Olympics earlier this year.

During the tour, he will share stories from his decades-long career with fans.

Scottish sports broadcaster Andrew Cotter will accompany Murray for all shows.

How to get tickets

Tickets will go on sale on November 14.
