An ambulance worker has been taken to hospital following a crash involving an ambulance car in Inverclyde.
Crews were called to the scene in Port Glasgow on the A8 at the Newark roundabout near Ferguson Marine at 7.14am on Tuesday morning.
A Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) staff member was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The crash involved a non-frontline vehicle operated by the service.
An SAS spokesperson said: “We received a call at 7.14am to attend a two-vehicle road traffic collision involving a non-frontline SAS car at Newark roundabout on the A8 trunk road, Port Glasgow.
“An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and our staff member was transported to hospital as a precaution.”
