Two people have been charged after allegedly stealing milk and “other crimes of dishonesty” in Glasgow.
In a post on Twitter, Glasgow North Police shared an image of a member of the force with around 30 bottles of milk following the “numerous” alleged thefts in the Milton area.
The bottles, which include both semi-skimmed and full-fat milk of differing volumes, appear to be frozen.
Police Scotland confirmed a man and woman, both aged 47 years old, were arrested and charged in connection with the theft.
The pair were reported to the procurator fiscal.
In the post, Police Scotland said: “Two persons have been charged and will be reported to the procurator fiscal for numerous thefts of milk and other crimes of dishonesty in the Milton area.”
