Protesters gathered in Glasgow to condemn the potential deportation raid of refugees and asylum seekers.
Around 35 people stood outside of the Home Office on Tuesday in protest of the government’s potential plans to deport refugees.
Stand Up to Racism Scotland added that protesters also gathered in Perth where an alleged attempted raid was set to take place.
The protests come after Prime Minister Rishi Sunak issued a new plan suggesting flights taking refugees to Rwanda would go ahead in July.
The flights were originally planned to go ahead in spring.
At a Downing Street press conference, he blamed Labour opposition to the scheme for the delays, but vowed: “We will start the flights and we will stop the boats.”
