The A85 has been closed in both directions after a crash between a van and a motorcycle near a village in Argyll and Bute.
Emergency services were called to the road, near the village of Dalmally, at around 2.30pm on Wednesday.
It is unknown at this stage if there are any casualties. Officers remain in attendance.
The A85 is currently closed at the junction of the A819, and for those travelling southbound the diversion is along the A819 and for those travelling northbound it is along the A82.
Drivers are being urged to find alternative routes.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving a van and a motorcycle on the A85 near Dalmally, around 2.30pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.
“Officers are in attendance.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were called to assist emergency service partners at 2.42pm on Wednesday, May 24 to reports of a road traffic collision on the A85, near Dalmally.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene, however our crews had no operational involvement with this incident.”
