The A78 in North Ayrshire has been closed after a four-vehicle crash on Thursday.
Emergency services closed the major road at the Eglinton roundabout north of Irvine after being called to the scene at 5.30pm.
Police Scotland said traffic is currently being diverted via Kilwinning.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
