A bomb disposal team called out to a park in Glasgow have said there is “no risk to the public”.
At around 8.10am on Friday, police were made aware of a suspicious item in Alexandra Park in the east end of the city.
A cordon had been put in place around an area of the park.
The explosive ordnance disposal team attended the scene and after examining the object, declared it safe.
Police inquries into the incident are ongoing.
The park was later fully reopened.
