Man accused of trying to kill woman with knife at salon
Duc Van Tran pleads not guilty at the High Court in Glasgow to attempted murder charge.
A man is to stand trial charged with trying to kill a woman at a beauty salon.
Duc Van Tran faced the allegation at the High Court in Glasgow on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old is accused of attacking Mai Hoang Vu at the Elegance by Sisa salon near Central Station in the city's Argyle Street last November 14.
The allegation includes the claim Van Tran struck her repeatedly with a knife.
Van Tran entered a not guilty plea to the attempted murder charge. Judge Lord Burns set a trial due to take place in Glasgow in August .
