A talented golden retriever is helping her owners get fit for an indoor version of the Race for Life charity run.
Two-year-old Islay from Glasgow can do press-ups, high fives and even burpees.
This year’s official run at Glasgow Green on Sunday, May 17, has been postponed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Organisers Cancer Research UK are instead encouraging runners to undertake their own version of the run.
Islay’s owner, Greg Wilkie, said: “Islay loves learning tricks and we had a lot of fun making a video at home to show off what she’s learnt so far.
“The secret to success I think is patience and plenty of treats to reward the dog when they do the right thing.”
He added: “We’re all going to be spending a lot of time indoors this spring so it feels good to keep fit and plan something positive to help people who are going through cancer right now.”
