Will ousted President Donald Trump seek solace in Scotland?

Speculation is rife that Trump will travel to Turnberry once he hands over the keys to the White House.

Could Donald Trump return to Scotland after the dust settles on this year’s controversial US election?

The outgoing President had reportedly planned to retreat to his Turnberry golf resort if he lost the 2016 election to Hilary Clinton.

A lack of available rooms in the hotel for January has sparked rumours he could be set to make an appearance in 2021, once Joe Biden takes the keys to the White House.

Trump’s previous visits to Scotland have seen large-scale security measures in place and protests from locals.
