What back-to-school looks like in pandemic weary Scotland

Pupils get used to a new way of life with masks and social distancing.

It’s nearly a month since we waved them back to school.

During that time children have had to get used to a new way of life, with the introduction of masks and social distancing as well as some restrictions in practical subjects, like music and PE.

Scotland Tonight visited a school in North Ayrshire, Auchenharvie Academy, to speak to pupils and teachers about the impact of lockdown on their education and about how they are coping with the challenges that lie ahead.
