Davy Ballantyne is raising money for the Samaritans by walking around the coastline of the Isle of Arran – with a 110-pound whisky barrel on his back.
Davy hoped to complete the 70-mile challenge in ten days, however due to weather conditions he reckons it will now take two weeks.
He originally wanted to donate money raised to causes for type-one diabetes, but due to the coronavirus pandemic has decided to give it to the Samaritans Emergency Appeal, for which he’s so far raised £3517.
Those who wish to support his cause can do it by donating through his JustGiving page.
