Little Ayla dressed up and put on the sassy performance for her family during lockdown.

A nine-year-old girl, who penned a clever coronavirus rap, has performed for her family during lockdown.

Ayla Getchell, from Hamilton, can be seen hiding behind a curtain before breaking into dance as she rapped the lyrics.

During her performance, she reminded people to “stay safe and stay in the house” before ending her show with a sassy mic drop.

Ayla was helped by her dad Jordan Thomson, his girlfriend Zara and his girlfriend’s sister who all contributed to the lyrics and the video editing.

Ayla’s dad shared the video on Facebook hoping to cheer up his social media followers during lockdown.
