Footage shows the River Leven overflowing as the area was hit with torrential downpours. 

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) issued seven flood warnings on Friday after heavy snow and rain battered much of the country overnight.

Roads and paths throughout Scotland have flooded, with some routes closed to motorists.

Tayside, Aberdeenshire, Dundee and Angus, Fife, Central Scotland and the Borders were mostly impacted by the conditions.
