Rescued calf surprises owner with her first ‘moo’

Little Molly Corona was born when the coronavirus started spreading across the UK.

A woman adopted an adorable Highland calf who had to be separated from her mum.

Molly Corona was born when coronavirus started spreading across the UK. Unfortunately the little calf was unable to suckle and had to be adopted.

Wilma Jayne Howe and her partner Dylan, from Earlston, have experience with rescues and a passion for animals and decided to adopt and care for little Molly.

Wilma said that after weeks of force feeding her with a tube she finally gave in and drank her first bottle.

“It brought a tear to my eyes I was so relieved”.

She has now surprised them with her first moo.

Wilma and her partner plan on keeping Molly and treat her as one of their other rescue pets.
