Patriotic Tony, 72, dons kilt to work out in garden

The 'Tonyvator' shows his Twitter followers how to keep fit during lockdown.

Tony Robertson has been working out in his garden in Edinburgh since his local gym closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

For his most recent workout he decided to spice things up and wear something a little special.

He said: “I was feeling particularly patriotic today so decided to don my kilt and get into the Highland Games spirit this week.”

His wife and camerawoman Lisbeth, carefully films and comments on his “new move”, the “bunny hop”.

After appearing on This Morning for a FaceTime interview with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, Tony has become an online Twitter and Instagram sensation and inspiration for all.

His videos have motivated more elderly people to keep fit and healthy while on lockdown.
