NHS medical director thanks public for staying at home

The deputy medical director at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has thanked the public for staying at home.

Scott Davidson issued a video message more than a week after the government asked people to self-isolate in a bid to cut the spread of Covid-19.

In his speech, Mr Davidson, encouraged everyone to keep following the official advice as it will help the frontline NHS workers to combat the killer virus.
