A mother has met her son again after 15 weeks apart during lockdown.
Julie Grant has been able to finally hug her 18-year-old son, Sean Mcginlay, outside the residential school in Glasgow where he lives due to his autism and learning disability.
Julie said: “Sean usually returns home on weekends but due to the lockdown, he wasn’t allowed to come home, just like many others with disabilities who live in care homes.”
She added: “I was just so excited and relieved to hold him and my son made it clear how he felt even without words”.
