A Scottish summer holiday favourite has been hit by a fall in visitor numbers as travel restrictions continue.

Usually Majorca is a favourite holiday spot for many Scots seeking the sunshine, but over the last few months things have been very different.

The usually bustling streets of Palma, and the party capital Magaluf are now quiet, and with Spain still on the list of countries that require a quarantine after arriving home to Scotland.

With quarantine restrictions set to continue for several more weeks, it’s unlikely that many Scots will be enjoying sun, sand and sangria for some time yet.
