Delaying the spread of coronavirus could potentially prevent the health service from being stretched to breaking point, a Scottish health chief has said.

The Scottish Government’s national clinical director Professor Jason Leitch says preventing a massive spike in Covid-19 cases will be key to ensuring the NHS has the capacity to treat patients.
