Families enjoy spooktacular night at movie drive-in

On Friday, cars lined up to watch classic 80s movie ET at one event in Paisley.

Families across Scotland have swapped trick or treating for a trip to the movies in their cars this Halloween.

At Parking Lot Social in Paisley, cars lined up to watch classic 80s movie E.T while socially distanced from other movie goers.

Some die-hard Halloween fans even dressed up for the occasion and proudly showed off their costumes to our cameras.

One young boy told STV News: ” [The best thing about Halloween is] probably that we get to dress up and this year I’ve dressed up as an ice cream cone.”

Cameron Craig from Parking Lot Social said: “This is a safe environment.

“Everyone is socially distanced. They can enjoy a Halloween movie, order food to their car and take part in our quizzes too.

“We have fun activities for the kids during the day, late night movie screenings of things like Blair Witch and also our adult comedy shows too so there’s something for everyone.”
