Edinburgh Zoo prepares to safely reopen its doors

Staff are getting ready to safely welcome back visitors to the facility.

Edinburgh Zoo is working to make its facility safe for the public in the hope it can reopen soon.

The zoo will introduce social distancing, close indoor areas and limit visitor capacity in order to adhere to the government guidelines.

A spokesperson also said the facility will be selling tickets online with allocated time slots to ensure the zoo keeps visitors spread out throughout the day.

By following these guidelines, the zoo will be able to welcome back the visitors as soon as they are allowed to do so.
