Dramatic animation has been produced, showcasing plans for a spaceport in the Highlands.

The proposed satellite-launch facility, backed by millions of pounds of public money, is being led by the development agency Highlands and Islands Enterprise.

It confirmed last month that the plans were being revised due to public concern about the potential environmental impact on the landscape around Melness, in Sutherland.

A planning application is expected to be submitted shortly.
