With the way things are this year; Zoom, Facetime and other forms of video messaging will come into their own again in the coming days, to keep families connected.
STV News posted a shout out on social media for anyone who wanted to send a message to their loved ones on TV – and we were inundated with responses.
Unfortunately, we can’t share all of them but this is just a handful of those who wanted to say Merry Christmas to someone they can’t be with on Christmas Day.
For youngsters – grannies and grandpas topped the list of those they will miss, while at the Buckreddan Care Centre, many of the residents simply wanted to tell their families they care.
