Banker warns customers after stopping £20,000 fraud scam

Emma Kerr from RBS in Paisley became suspicious after a customer suddenly wanted to withdraw a large sum.

A personal banker is urging people to be vigilant of fraudsters asking them to withdraw money from their accounts.

Emma Kerr from RBS in Paisley managed to stop a customer transferring £20,000 from his account after becoming suspicious.

Scammers who had contacted the man had even organised a taxi through a local company to persuade him to go to his bank.

Ms Kerr notified the police, who determined the man was being scammed.
