Zoo calling for fireworks ban after panda death

Roxie the red panda was only born at Edinburgh Zoo in July this year.

The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland is calling for an end to noisy fireworks following the death of a baby red panda at Edinburgh Zoo.

The three-month-old kit, Roxie, died over bonfire night, and veterinary experts believe her death was linked to stress caused by fireworks being let off across the city.
