Young Scots warned about of impact of youth violence

Kenzo is now helping others to see the dangers of knife crime, after his friend Kory was stabbed to death.

Community groups and emergency services are working to teach young Scots about the lasting impact of youth violence following the recent deaths of three teenagers in Scotland due to knife crime.

Sixteen-year-old Kory McCrimmon was fatally stabbed in Greenfield Park two years ago and his friend, Kenzo is now helping others to see the dangers of youth violence.

Kenzo spoke at an Easter holiday event, which aims to teach youngsters about the dangers and lasting impact of knife crime.

While communities continue to heal from the loss of young people, it’s hoped events like these will help ensure no other family has to experience the same devastation.
