Workers at Ferguson Marine shipyard in Port Glasgow say they’re devastated after losing out on a contract to build seven new ferries for the CalMac fleet.
The vessels will instead be built by a Polish firm after it was named the lead bidder.
Unions say it leaves the yard in a precarious position.
The Scottish Government remains optimistic for the firm’s future.
