Work taking place to restore Cairngorms peatlands

Scotland's fragile peatlands are regarded as globally important sinks to capture carbon

It’s an area renowned for winter sports, but the Cairngorms could play a key role in helping tackle climate change.

Work is continuing to restore peatland in the area and it’s hoped the results could prove beneficial for generations to come.
