Women with terminal illnesses urge MSPs to back Assisted Dying Bill

Dame Tanni Grey-Thomson warns of risks for vulnerable people

In the next few weeks, MSPs will decide whether people with terminal illnesses will be given the right to ask for help in ending their lives.

Today, three women with incurable conditions visited parliament to urge politicians to back the Assisted Dying Bill.

Paralympian Dame Tanni Grey-Thomson was also at Holyrood.

She’s concerned that vulnerable people could be coerced into a death they don’t want.
