Women who lost babies during pregnancy call for better support

1 in 4 pregnancies end in a loss. But those that happen before 24 weeks aren't officially recorded

Women who have lost a baby during pregnancy are calling for better emotional support for them and their families.

It comes after the Scottish Government announced a new scheme – it’ll let parents have the death of child following miscarriage be formally recognised for the first time.

In a Scotland Tonight special STV is taking a look at the emotional impact of a loss – and what more needs to be done to help families through it.
