Woman who tended to war graves buried beside the soldiers

Isobel Harling tended to the graves of Indian and Pakistani soldiers who died during Highland training

A remarkable Highland woman who tended the graves of a group of wartime Asian soldiers for more than seven decades was today buried beside them.

Isobel Harling, who served in the Navy and drove ambulances during the Second World War, died last month at the age of 100.
