Wildcats set to be released in the Cairngorms in UK first

They'll wear GPS collars, so their movements can be tracked

Wildcats are to be released in the Cairngorms National Park to help restore the critically endangered population.

Habitat loss and breeding with domestic cats mean the Highland Tigers are at risk of extinction.

It’s the first time they’ll be deliberately released in the UK.
