The river had been drained for more than 60 years, to boost hydro-power generation.
Water was returned to the River Garry in 2017 and salmon eggs were used to kick-start the fish population.
Genetic studies show that wild salmon are now dominant, re-establishing the Garry as a vital breeding ground.
