Scotland’s wild bird population is at risk of extinction due to Avian Flu and conservation experts are calling on the Scottish Government to introduce strategies now to pull them back from the brink.

The Scottish Seabird Centre says a specific path needs to be created to boost the bird population, as the Environment Minister announced a new plan to cope with flu outbreaks.

Last month Nature Scotland reported an increase in the number of dead birds along our coastlines and put their task force on high alert.
