What’s thought to be Scotland’s oldest manuscript has gone on display in Aberdeen.

The Book of Deer offers a unique insight into Scotland’s culture and society at the time.

It contains the earliest written form of Gaelic.

It’s on loan to Aberdeen Art Gallery for the next three months.
