Wettest winter ever experienced say North East farmers

The weather is delaying spring crops being sown and impacting plants already in the ground

Farmers in the North East claim it’s the wettest winter they’ve experienced.

They say torrential rain is pushing up costs and damaging crops and that the next few weeks will be crucial.
